About Jenny
Meet The Founder
I know first hand how important it is for hair and beauty businesses to make a great first impression.
Before I started building websites, I was a hairdresser myself. I spent years behind the chair, understanding the industry inside and out from what clients look for, how busy salon life can be, to how important it is to have a strong brand presence.
Time spent as a trainer for Joico and Fudge gave me even more insight into the differences between not just salons, but business styles as well.
Around 2001 I went back to university to study eCommerce and digital design. That’s when I realised I could bring my two worlds together.
I started Hair & Beauty Websites with one goal: to help salon owners, beauty therapists, and operators like you have a website that’s not only beautiful but also functional, affordable, and easy to manage.
It also doesn't hurt to have someone that can understand the unique challenges a salon can face and who can help you to solve that.
Why Do I Need A Website?
Despite what a lot of people believe, relying on social media for your web presence can trip you up badly. Yes social media does have its place for sure, however it is effectively rented space. We all know someone that got hacked, lost their access or worse got banned from a social platform.
Whether it was warranted or not, its very stressful to have your only point of exposure compromised.
I myself got my Facebook & Instagram hacked about 5 years ago and it was so awful. While I can't stop that (sorry!), I can offer you a space to showcase your business, work and personality that is fully owned by yourself and not subject to the whim of a huge platform that doesn't care about you.
The other side to having your own website is that you are telling the search engines (and by that I mean Google) that you are
