Payment must be made before we commence any work. However, it is worth knowing that payment does not secure a development timeslot.

We work to very tight time constraints which is how we keep our prices reasonable. While you do have to pay for your website prior to development (the time frame and plan is below), we cannot start your project without everything we need. It just isn't possible.

So please remember that when we allocate you a time slot we need everything we've asked for prior to that timeslot. If we don't have it, you will loose your spot and a rebooking fee as listed below will be incurred.

How To Pay:

Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer. Our account is an OSKO account so payments to it appear within minutes.

1: Payment For Your Website

We use our own agency platform to build and host your website.

It is a drag and drop platform so super easy for you to make edits at any time. It also means that the platform does updates, introduces new capabilities and handles your website security. Unlike if you use Wordpress - you don't have to worry about plugins corrupting your website.

Like all web platforms you can't just export your website and install it on another platform. You do own all your content but should you decide to move away from us, your website would need to be rebuilt somewhere else. No matter what platform you use, this is almost always how it is going to be.

1: The Website Platform

Content is any text and images that you supply for your website.

We do not write your content. You know your business, we don't, so you are responsible for supplying all your website content in a digital format. Text can be provided via our info form, or in a document like Google Docs or a Word Doc (not a PDF).

Images must be supplied as an upload to the location we give you and must be named appropriately.

It must be supplied to us in digital format so we can copy and paste the text and upload images. This is how we keep our prices affordable. We will provide a link to a form and drive location for you to upload your info and images.

We will upload your content to the appropriate section on the page. We may tweak it for SEO purposes but you will get full approval before the site goes live.

Information that is supplied in a PDF or image (IE a screenshot of your pricing board for example) cannot be accepted as content. This would mean we would have to retype the entire thing which isn't covered in our prices.

2: Your Content:

We have a standard Terms of Use, Privacy & Cookie policy that we use. You must either agree to use these or supply your own. We do not publish websites without legal terms.

3: Terms And Conditions Of Use

A few years ago Europe introduced compliance for all websites with regard to cookie storage. Cookies are little bites of info that your website stores to work better, or in some less than ideal situations those cookies will track your online actions.

California then introduced the same thing and its moving forward from there. We need to add a compliance notification to your website and these can either be a bar in your footer, or via an addon we use.

If you do think you may get traffic from Europe or the US, this is pretty much necessary. You are exposing yourself to some massive fines if someone from Europe views your website and a cooking compliance isn't offered. You might choose to run your cookie compliance via a simple banner, however if you choose this you also choose to accept the liability associated with this.

Having a paid compliance handler will increase your hosting costs by $20 per month. These compliance apps aren't free so there is a cost involved.

A blog is not included with a one page website. It can be added for $179 + gst. This includes a blog page template setup.

5: Google Analytics Setup

While we can add your Google ID to your website for correct tracking, Google analytics and search console setup are not included in one page websites. If you have already set up Google Analytics you simply provide us with your ID. If you have not set up Google Analytics and would like to, talk to us before your website goes live and we can walk you through the process. We can't do this for you. Google insists that the owner take these steps and often verification is required which only you can do.

6: Payments Process & Schedules

Payments for one page websites must be made in full prior to us allocating you a development spot. If you are not in a hurry feel free to assemble all your content first and then make payment. While this might mean you don't get an immediate development time slot, we will fit you into our schedule in the very next spot available.

Payments for 5 page websites are 50% deposit and 50% final prior to the website being set live. Again, payment will secure a timeslot, however we do need all your content to start, so you do need to upload your content as a priority to keep that spot.

Payments for custom websites are typically 50% deposit, 25% at final preview, and the final 25% before the site is set live.

General Payment Info:

Payment is made into our "Pre Dev" account. While we are not required to run a trust account by law, we do not consider your deposit our money until we commence development. We do not use deposits for our operational costs, however the minute we start development your deposit transfers into our Ops account and becomes non refundable.

There is a lot that goes into the initial design and your deposit (or payment in the case of a one page website) covers this portion of the build. Once we have put that time in, we have provided services that cannot be undone.
